It is known to many that Jericho "Echo" Rosales and Heart Evangelista had a relationship in the past.
Their relationship was quite controversial because of the disapproval of Heart's parents over Echo.
During Heart's tell-all with lifestyle magazine Cosmopolitan, she revealed that Jericho is her "one true love."
"At least you met him. It's not sad because it was so great that you'll never, ever forget. You can still feel it to this day. The way I see it, I'm just so happy I experienced it because not all people do," Heart said about her relationship with Echo.
"[It was like] you and me against the world," she said. "We could live in a kubo, I don't care if we eat in a carinderia, my God, magkamay tayo! It's the best life I ever had, and I will never forget it."
"I still believe in the idea of a one true love, and it could be with somebody you don't necessarily end up with. [For me] talagang si Jericho."
During a recent TV guesting of Jericho Rosales on ABS-CBN's Tonight with Boy Abunda, Tito Boy asked about his reaction on Heart's revelation that he is her "true love."
Echo: "You know, I mean, it's a blessing."
Tito Boy: "Do you believe in the concept of a great love?
Echo: "Oo naman! I married my great love.
"I mean, I'm so proud of her [Heart Evangelista] na actually, brave diba?
"Kasi para ma-appreciate ng tao na kapag naramdaman nila yung bagay na ganun hindi nila take for granted parang ganun diba."
Jericho and Heart ended their three-year relationship back in 2008.
Jericho tied the knot with model Kim Cam Jones on a beach wedding ceremony in Boracay on May 1, 2014.
A year later, Heart married Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero on February 15, 2015 at the Balesin Island Club.
