It is just a few minutes away before the clock strikes midnight to celebrate Christmas Day. And for Raymart Santiago, he only wishes for his annulment case with estranged wife Claudine Barretto to finally push through next year.
In a recent interview with the Kapuso actor, KAMI learned that he had amiably talked to Claudine on how will they celebrate the holiday season with their two children — Sabina and Santino. According to PEP.ph, the estranged couple planned to spend Christmas Eve with Claudine’s family.
“Plano is to celebrate yung eve.... 24, dinner... and 24, salubong sa mommy niya,” the 44-year-old Kapuso actor said. “Parang ganun.”
Raymart also revealed that they even went to the mall together as a family. When asked about his relationship with Claudine’s mother Mommy Inday, Raymart said they have met and they’re okay.
As for the kids, Raymart said that his two children have different tastes. Sab reportedly likes clothes while son Santino loves toys. He also revealed his Christmas present for them.
“Si Santino, hindi mahilig sa damit. Si Sab, mahilig. Sa toys naman mahilig si Santino,” Raymart said. “So, ayun ang Xmas gift ko sa kanila. Bumili ako ng scooter para sa kanila.”
When it comes to the actor’s personal wish, Raymart hopes that his annulment case with Claudine will finally push through this 2018. According to the actor, he is waiting for the papers since Claudine told him that she will be the one to file the case in court.
"Dun na rin naman ang tuloy nun, eh," Raymart said.
Even though Raymart has failed when it comes to his married life, the actor is very productive in his career this year. His GMA 7 show “My Korean Jagiya” is going strong and he also stars in Regal’s MMFF 2017 entry, “Haunted Forest.”
