Driving or riding a car is always a risk, with thousands of Filipinos dying every year due to car accidents, according to Rappler.
KAMI learned from GMA Entertainment about eleven Filipino showbiz personalities who got involved in vehicular accidents.
1. AJ Perez
In 2011, the young Kapamilya star lost his life in a car accident in Tarlac City.
2. Angelu de Leon
The actress was with her son Rafa on the way to work when her car was hit by a truck.
3. Alden Richards
The Pambansang Bae was involved in a minor car accident last year.
4. Mark Herras
He sustained a few minor injuries in a car accident in 2016 which took place at Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City.
5. Kris Aquino
She and her son Bimby were rushed to the hospital after a car accident in 2015.
6. Richard Gutierrez
In 2009, Richard got involved in a severe vehicular accident which took the life of his assistant.
7. Manny Pacquiao
The boxing legend got into a minor traffic accident just hours after defeating boxer Shane Mosley.
8. Vandolph
The comedian suffered a severe car crash in 2001. He lost his girlfriend in the accident.
9. Anne Curtis
The “It’s Showtime” host sustained some bruises and wounds in a car accident in Quezon City back in 2009.
10. Halina Perez
In 2004, Halina lost her life in a vehicular accident which took place in Camarines Sur.
11. Melody Gersbach
The beauty queen passed away after her vehicle was hit by a bus. The accident happened in Bicol in 2010.
