Na-bubully din pala ang beauty queen? Pia Wurtzbach admits being bullied because of her height and complexion

- Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach shared that she also experienced being bullied

- She said this in an interview with Magandang Buhay hosts

- She shared that her childhood friends used to tease her "tangkad" and "puti"

KAMI saw this issue from the Youtube account of ABS-CBN Entertainment where she tell things about her past. Pia Wurtzbach is half Filipina-half German. She was born in Germany but they later migrated in the Philippines. She also shared that they lived in four different cities in the Philippines.

From Germany, they resided in Cagayan de Oro, Iligan City, Malabon City and Pasig City. Pia shared that living in different cities is an advantage for her. Because she gets to meet different people and learn new things. It was a big help for her to become mature at a young age.

Pia then admits being teased by her friends and classmates when she was still studying. Magandang Buhay host Melai, asked her about this.

"Tama. Inaasar nila ako na ano.. matangkad tsaka payat tsaka puti.. parang alam mo naman yung typical na ano diba, na asaran pagka mga bagets pa, na parang 'ah naiiba ka!' so.." she said.

The beauty queen also shared that at the age of 11, she started to become a bread winner. At first, her mother wants her to be a singer. While looking for a singing lesson class, they saw an audition in ABS-CBN then her mother said to try it. Even though she's not ready, she gave it a try. After two weeks, she was already part of the network. She gave all of her salary to her mother and only requested for a Play Station.

Pia Wurtzbach is a Filipino actress, television presenter, model, HIV/AIDS awareness activist, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe 2015 on 20 December 2015 after becoming Miss Universe Philippines 2015 at the Binibining Pilipinas 2015 pageant on 15 March 2015. She is a UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador for Asia & the Pacific since 2016.
