May feelings pa din! Sunshine Dizon opens up about her relationship with estranged husband Timothy Tan
- Last year, after six years of marriage, Sunshine and Timothy have called it quits
- They have two children and Sunshine revealed they are now co-parenting their children
- She also revealed that she will always have feelings for her estranged husband, Timothy
After calling it quits last year, Sunshine revealed that she is happy with the current situation of her life now, co-parenting with estranged husband, Timothy Tan.
KAMI learned from Abante Tonite that although they are not together they still share the duties of parenting to their two children.
“Tim and I are not together, hiwalay kami, pero we’re co-parenting," she said.
According to Sunshine, she didn't continue the annulment case because she knows it won't be granted since right now they're in good terms even if they are not together.
“Maganda rin yung natutunan ng mga nakararami na hindi porke’t hiwalay na or may nangyaring hindi maganda eh kailangang magpatayan na kayo at maghiwalay kayo ng pangit."
“Pero, at least somehow hindi man natuloy ‘yung legal na paraan, sa isang banda hinding-hindi rin makakalimutan ng mga tao na minsan may lumaban sa kanya that it’s actually possible, na hindi puwedeng manahimik lang."
She said she has to put aside her own feelings for the welfare of her children.
“I have set aside emotional baggage’s to co-parent with Tim, kasi ‘yun ang nakakabuti para sa mga anak ko. Masaya ‘yung mga anak ko sa aspeto na ‘yun.”
When asked about the possibilities of reconciliation.
“‘Yung isipin nyong magkabalikan kami? I’m telling you, not this year, not next year, I’m not sure. I’m not at that point yet, pero okay kami ni Tim. Magkaibigan kami. We’re still a family,” Sunshine added.
“I always have feelings for Tim, because at the end of the day he’s still my husband. I am still his wife technically. I’m not annulled. I’m still Mrs. Tan."
According to GMA, Sunshine Dizon and Timothy Tan first met in Pampanga in November 2009 then they got married through a civil wedding on March 20, 2010.
They have two children, Anton and Doreen.
On June 17, 2016, Sunshine revealed on her Instagram account that her marriage with Timothy has ended.
She also revealed the identity of the alleged mistress of Timothy.
Sunshine, Tim, and his alleged mistress Clarisma Sison attended the preliminary investigation of the Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) on August 10, 2016.
