Arjo Atayde opens up about her half-sister Pia: “She chose to have her own life”

Sylvia Sanchez’s revelation on “Magandang Buhay” that her eldest child is not actually Arjo Atayde surprised many netizens.

KAMI learned from PEP.ph that Arjo has opened up about his half-sister Pia.

The actor revealed that Pia decided to stay with her father instead of with Sylvia, who gave birth to her at the age of 17.

Pia is Sylvia’s child from a previous relationship.

“Yeah, I have a half-sister. Some people know it.

“It wasn’t just mentioned online because she chose her own life. Let’s just put it to that.

“She chose to have her own life. She chose to be with her dad than with us.

"That’s the only reason why she was never really shown on TV."

Due to a lack of communication, Arjo said that he is not as close to Pia as he once was.

However, this has not affected his love for her as a family member.

“Yeah, no matter what problem comes in, at the end of the day, you’re family.

“Family is family. Magkaproblema o walang problema, you guys will back up each other, you know.

“And even if we’re not as close as before, she’s still my blood. She’s still in my heart, she’s still my sister.

“But, you know, life is life. There are some things that you have to move on from. There are some things that you won’t forget but let go.”

KAMI is hoping that Arjo and Pia would become close again in the future!
