Donita Rose admits going through a financial problem: “Nakakahiyang i-share sa inyo”

Donita Rosa showed her courage on “Magandang Buhay” by revealing how she went through a dire financial problem before getting offered a part in the new movie “Seven Sundays.”

KAMI learned about her story from ABS-CBN News.

Donita is a single parent to her son.

"That particular day umiyak talaga ako. Para akong nabuhusan ng ulan. Nandoon ako sa kotse ko, iyak ako ng iyak. Sabi ko, 'Lord, di ko na kaya ito.'

“Habang umiiyak ako pinalampas ko na lang muna then I prayed. Then tinawagan ko ang manager ko and I said, 'Parang di ko na kaya ang pinagdadaanan ko.'

“Sabi niya, 'Hindi ba ikaw lagi mong sinasabi na magtiwala kay Lord. Huwag kang mag-alala may darating at darating din.' The next day, 'Hello Donita, may movie offer ka.'"

Donita said that she is sharing her story in order to inspire others to trust in God.

"Although nakakahiyang i-share sa inyo, siyempre kung ito ay magandang mensahe para magtiwala tayo, sige ishi-share ko na lang kahit nakakahiya.

“After that, sinabi sa akin may pelikula, ang pangalawang naisip ko naku hindi pa ako fit, hindi pa ako ready. Ang sagot, 'Huwag kang mag-alala, kasi dito ay buntis ka' buntis ang role ko.

“So sobrang happy ako na nakasama ako sa pelikulang ito, dahil ang ganda-ganda ng pelikulang ito, promise.”

“Seven Sundays,” which also stars Aga Mulach, Dingdong Dantes, Enrique Gil and Cristine Reyes is now showing nationwide.
