Some Filipinos abroad suffer from discrimination.
Mostly from other races who pokes fun of their accent.
Sad to say, such discrimination happens even here in our country.
Let's face it, if you're from the province, there are possibility of being discriminated or at times bullied in school.
People from the city have that perception that Promdi people would have no other business in the city but to work as house helpers.
They are even judged to be gullible and easily fooled.
This is one of the reason why Visayan hesitate to move in to Manila.
This girl however decided to break that stereotype.
Facebook user named Lezlie Musico who served as an inspiration to everyone after she posted a lengthy speech on her social media account.
She shared the story of how she conquered all the discrimination that she got from the people around her.
Along with it, she posted a graduation photo of her that was accompanied by a lengthy caption where she revealed that since she's a Bisaya, she was often discriminated by a lot of people.
"Kapag Bisaya ka, dinidiscriminate ka, Kapag Tourism Mngt. tinetake up mo, dinidiscriminate course mo." These were the first words that she wrote on her lengthy post.
