BUSTED: ‘Legal wife’ caught husband and mistress during rendezvous

Highlight: A female lawyer in Cebu City, who had been tailing his husband and fellow lawyer, was finally able to trap the man with his alleged mistress inside a room in a pension house, affirming her suspicions of the two having an affair for some time now.

April 28, Thursday night, while tracking the twosome’s whereabouts, the woman saw her husband’s car parked inside the pension house’s parking lot.

Upon seeing the car, the wife flattened the tires to prevent the couple from fleeing, after which she went up to their room and started knocking on the door.

When her husband and his alleged mistress, who is also a lawyer, refused to come out of the room, the wife called up and sought assistance from the local police.

When the two finally came out at 8 AM on Friday, they were escorted to the Mabolo Police Station.

The wife, who has been married to her husband for three years, is determined to file concubinage and Violence against Women and Children raps against the man. They do not have a child yet.

Article 334 of the Revised Penal Code states that “any husband who shall keep a mistress in a conjugal dwelling, or shall have sexual intercourse, under scandalous circumstances, with a woman who is not his wife, or shall cohabit with her in any other place, shall be punished by provision correccional in its minimum and medium periods.”

She will also file a disbarment case for both the man and his alleged mistress who, according to the wife, is a colleague of her husband.
