Kapamilya newscaster Karen Davila touched netizens after posting a sweet and inspiring message for her nephew Wil Dasovich, who has stage 3 colon cancer.

KAMI learned about Karen’s message from her Instagram page via PEP.ph.

Karen is a first cousin of Charry Lising-Dasovich, Wil’s mother.

“My dearest nephew @wil_dasovich. I want to greet you a very meaningful birthday but more importantly, let you know how deeply I admire your openness & courage in overcoming the biggest challenge of your life.

“You have shown more character than many people I know - stepping out in FAITH & choosing to LIVE the LIFE you want!!

“I've always told Ate @charry_dasovich - what makes you truly special is you have such a good heart - and even in your darkest moments, it shines through my dear. Now THAT is AMAZING Wil! Love you! Please watch Wil's VLOG & let's help him go for #1MforWil,” Karen wrote.

Wil responded to his tita’s message.

“Aww love you so much tita can't wait to come back and give u a big hug and eat all your sosyal food. We’ll get through this fam no doubt. All your messages have been very thoughtful to me and I appreciate having you so much in my life,” Wil wrote.
