A former beauty queen in Bulacan was shot dead by a fake delivery boy who escaped on a motorcycle with another rider after giving her chocolates and flowers at her home.

KAMI learned from GMA News that the incident took place in Plaridel, Bulacan.

On Wednesday, at around 9 a.m., Mary Christine Balagtas received a bouquet of flowers and chocolates from the fake delivery men.

One of the delivery men then shot her in the head.

The 23-year-old Lakambini of Bulacan 2009 was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

The police are now investigating the motives for the crime and are currently looking at the victim’s former boyfriend to learn more details about the murder.

The mother of the victim said that her daughter had no enemies.
