These Pinoys allegedly scammed a businesswoman by pretending to be Mekeni employees

One of the things that give a headache to business owners is scammers who want to take advantage of them. This story might be a perfect example of that.

KAMI received messages from a business owner in Baguio City who was allegedly scammed by Ashley John Clavito and Raymund Laza.


These two men allegedly pretended to be employees of Mekeni and overcharged the victim during their business transaction.

“Na-scam po kc kmi dto sa store namin dto sa baguio city.. noong march 19 lang po.”


“Kung sa 1/4 kilo ng hotdog ang price ay 34pesos lang po.pero ang ginawa nya samin 78pesos ang balor ng 1/4kilo na binayaran namin sknya.10750pesos ang binigay nangakong babalik sya pero dna sya bumalik. Sana maaksyonan to sir..kung d man maibalik ung pera na bnayad namin,sana dna maulit oa sa ibang store.naghahanap buhay kami ng patas kung bakit my mga tao pading kagaya nya.”

“Nagpakilala pong ahente ng mekeni... kasama po nya yang nsa i.d… sabi ng mekeni hndi daw nila kilala yang taong yan,” the victim alleged.

She added that she was charged P10K for the products when the price should only have been P4,000.
