Passionate Facebook post in support of Duterte goes viral

Netizens are going crazy over a Facebook post from a supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte, who shared a message and some photos of the controversial leader.

The netizen created a collage of four pictures to try to prove that Duterte is the humblest and simplest President in Philippine history.
One picture shows Duterte eating simple Filipino dishes at a “karinderya;” another shows him sleeping with a “kulambo” for protection; a third picture shows the President with a worn-out shoe; and the last one shows him kissing a sick child.

The netizen also posted a long message about Duterte, detailing his achievements and visionary plans for the country.
“Dahil kay Pangulong Duterte, nararamdaman na ng mga Pilipino ang tunay na pagbabago, at sa pamamagitan nya ay muling aangat ang bansang Pilipinas. Yan ba ang Pangulo na gusto nilang patalsikin?” the supporter asked.
(Because of President Duterte, Filipinos are feeling a true change, and through him, the Philippines will rise again. Is that the kind of President that they would like to impeach?)

Many supporters of Duterte applauded the viral post.
However, some netizens commented that Duterte has actually made things worse in the country, particularly with regards to human rights, the Philippines’ relationship with foreign countries, and the territorial dispute with China.
As of this writing, the Facebook post has already garnered 15K likes, 5K shares and almost 600 comments.
