A video of Liza Soberano singing “You” through a karaoke machine and struggling to hit the high notes has gone viral, with many netizens praising her for trying her best.

The viral clip shows Liza looking very serious while singing the romantic song.

Her voice was smooth, clear and effortless during the early part of the song. However, she struggled once she got to the chorus part, saying that the notes are too high.

Despite failing to hit the right notes, netizens praised her for being humble and for trying her best in singing the song.

“A for effort! Sa buhay, okay lang mag fail. Ang mahalaga ay nag try ka kahit nahihirapan,” a netizen wrote.

(In life, it is okay to fail. The important thing is that you try even if it is difficult.)

Other social media users also expressed their worry over Liza’s serious demeanor in the video, saying that she might have been feeling sad because Enrique Gil was not with her.
