PNP reveals treasures found after raiding home of beauty doc Joel Mendez

SSS and National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) operatives raided the home of celebrity doctor and Weigh Less owner Dr. Joel Mendez on Pugo Street in Barangay Talipapa, Quezon City on Thursday, February 2.

According to reports from GMA News, Mendez has been sentenced by the Quezon City Regional Trial Court for non-remittance of SSS contributions of his 40 employees, amounting to P1,865,667.50 with an interest of 3 percent per month from July 2013 until full payment.

In the decision, Mendez was to spend a minimum of six years and one day and maximum of seven years in jail along with a payment of a fine worth P15,000.
