Scams, for one, have not stopped as people behind these atrocious acts have stepped up their game online.

Since everyone is connected to their gadgets through the Internet, some services have taken their businesses online.

For example, banks have made it easier for their clients to check their finances through their websites or apps.

However, we should still be wary of them since not everything we see online should be believed.

Good thing a netizen informed us that the Bank of the Philippine Island (BPI) has a fake site that poses as a registration page for clients to fill in their details.

This netizen claimed that the hoax page was created to get one's credit card details.

It is known that there are many ways one can get their credit card duped and the fake site is one of them, if not the latest.

Let this be a reminder to us to always be vigilant online and maybe take a page or two out of President Rodrigo Duterte's life rules.
