Netizens are shocked that rapper Abra cursed and flipped the bird live on national TV.

In his sample rap, Abra said pakyu, while holding his middle finger in the air live on national TV. Abra was one of the judges on Showtime’s segment “Christmas Rapper” alongside Andrew E. There is an obvious pause among the hosts who were shocked of Abra’s rap. The hosts tried to turn the situation to a joke.

Vice is quick to save the rest of the cast and the show by saying, "We would like to remind everyone that the views and opinions of the judges do not reflect those of the hosts, the show, the management and the network. Kaya kung ano man po ang nasabi o naipakita ni Abra, humihingi po kami ng paumanhin."

Before MTRCB steps in, the rapper apologized for his uncalled behavior at the show. According to Abra, he did not mean it, and he was just carried away. "Talagang out of impulse lang yung nagawa ko. Eh sakto din may battle kase ako next week, finals ng Fliptop sa San Juan Gym. Magkita-kita po tayo dyan sa darating na Sabado. Kaya pasensya na po. Mabuhay ang musikang ang OPM! Mabuhay po kayong lahat!" he said.

Meanwhile, netizens think that the rapper is arrogant because of his actions. While some people think that Abra is just being real and it is a culture in hiphop, some of the commenters are worried of the consequences of Abra’s actions.
