After being bombarded with controversies, Vice President Leni Robredo still managed to keep her calm and posed in front of the camera for the December 2016- - January 2017 issue of Esquire magazine Philippines.
Wearing a red turtleneck pullover styled by Clifford Olanday, Vice President Leni, whose make-up was done by Rona Resngit and hair by Muriel Vega Perez, looks gorgeous on her beauty shot by Francisco Guerrero in the minimal cover of the magazine with the issue title "The Heroes & Villains of Strange Year".

The Facebook page of Esquire magazine posted the photo, mentioning how the vice president has gone through struggles and cited some of the personalities who were considered as heroes and villains of the year. The post said:
“'IN THE END, GOOD WILL PREVAIL OVER EVIL.' Vice President Leni Robredo remains optimistic in the face of her own dismay at the state’s decision to bury a dictator, keeping faith in the triumph of justice."
