- Vice President Leni Robredo slays on the cover of Esquire magazine
- VP Leni is featured on the December 2016 - January 2017 issue of the magazine
- The magazine issue also features personalities who were this year's "heroes and villains"
After being bombarded with controversies, Vice President Leni Robredo still managed to keep her calm and posed in front of the camera for the December 2016- - January 2017 issue of Esquire magazine Philippines.
Wearing a red turtleneck pullover styled by Clifford Olanday, Vice President Leni, whose make-up was done by Rona Resngit and hair by Muriel Vega Perez, looks gorgeous on her beauty shot by Francisco Guerrero in the minimal cover of the magazine with the issue title "The Heroes & Villains of Strange Year".
The Facebook page of Esquire magazine posted the photo, mentioning how the vice president has gone through struggles and cited some of the personalities who were considered as heroes and villains of the year. The post said:
“'IN THE END, GOOD WILL PREVAIL OVER EVIL.' Vice President Leni Robredo remains optimistic in the face of her own dismay at the state’s decision to bury a dictator, keeping faith in the triumph of justice."
"The Vice President is among the Heroes & Villains of A Strange Year, our tally of personalities who have made 2016 what it is, for better or worse. As part of this list, we speak to pro-administration online activist Mocha Uson, whose growing political influence via MOCHA USON BLOG must no longer be ignored; as well as Human Rights Commissioner Chito Gascon, whose opposition to the War on Drugs continues to be a Sisyphean effort."
The magazine issue will be available in bookstores and magazine stands nationwide.
