- President Rodrigo Duterte continues to captivate the hearts of Filipinos with his achievements for the country
- Nueva Ecija artist Elito 'Amang Pintor' Circa is currently painting President Duterte using his blood and sweat as his materials
- Circa has already painted boxer-turned-senator Manny Pacquiao using his unusual tools
President Rodrigo Duterte still manages to capture the hearts of many Filipinos, prompting them to create something in honor of the tough-talking president.
Such is the case of Elito Circa, also known as 'Amang Pintor', who is currently working on a montage of Duterte in a painting.
However, it is not like any other masterpiece done with traditional materials - Circa has literally used his own blood and sweat to create his painting.

Circa, who is from San Jose City, Nueva Ecija, claimed that using blood as his paint expresses life.
"I asked a nurse to extract my blood and place it in test tubes so I could use it to paint," he said.
The veteran artist also added that he has to finish his painting as fast as he could before his blood-turned-into-paint spoils in a couple of days.

He has chosen the current president, albeit his unpredictable behavior and foul mouth, as his subject since he was impressed with his performance.
"Bilib talaga ako sa kanya (Duterte). Minsan negatibo siyang magsalita pero parang kaibigan lang 'yan na naiintindihan mo kahit iba pa ang pananalita niya... Marami na siyang nagawa," he claimed.
(I really admire him. Though he sometimes speaks negatively, he's just like a friend who you can understand even when he speaks rough. He has already done a lot.)

Duterte is not the first politician Circa has painted - he has already painted a montage for Senator Manny Pacquiao.
Prior to the two powerful personalities, he has also painted members of his own family using his unconventional materials.
He disclosed that his paintings are not for sale, since he considers the labor of his (literal) blood and sweat as 'priceless'. Here is a clip of him working on 'Hearted Fist', the name of his Pacquiao piece.
