Legal battle against estranged wife troubles Timothy Tan
- Timothy Tan finally met with his estranged wife Sunshine Dizon after they decided to end their marriage
- Dizon filed for custody of their two children and the hearing was held in the house of Judge Cleto Villacorta III of Branch 29 of Quezon City Regional Trial Court
- Since the court released a gag order, both sides were very hesitant to say any information regarding their legal battle
Actress Sunshine Dizon and her estranged husband Timothy Tan met again after they decided to end their marriage for the hearing of the custody case filed by Dizon for her two children with Tan.
The hearing was held in the house of Judge Cleto Villacorta III of Branch 29 of the Quezon City Regional Trial Court last Thursday afternoon, July 28.

After a closed-door hearing that lasted for over an hour, Dizon was the first one to come out accompanied by her lawyer Atty. Claire Castro. The actress entertained a short interview that is why Tan did not come out immediately in the receiving area of the court.
When Dizon finally left, Tan came out accompanied by his two lawyers Atty. Peter Sanchez and Atty. Ruth Castelo.

Tan did not give any information to the press because the court released a gag order which means that the case may not be discussed in public. His lawyers were the ones spoke on behalf of him.
“Siyempre (Of course), he' s problematic about the whole thing. Siyempre (Of course), stressed din siya (He is stressed, too). He's having sleepless nights over what is happening,” said Atty. Castelo.
In a different interview, Atty. Sanchez stated, “We're glad na nag-uusap kami, we're hoping na ma-settle namin lahat.”
(We are glad that we are talking. We are hoping that we will be able to settle everything.)

With the media’s pressure, Tan told the media, “Actually, I cannot talk about anything. Nagbigay na ako ng statement (I already gave a statement), and that would be the first and last na maibibigay ko (that I will be able to give).”
When asked about his children with Sunshine, Tan refused to give any comments since they were given a gag order. He further refused to give any information on the issue of Dizon’s hacked Instagram account. - Kami Media
