Nadine Lustre on FHM sexiest women ranking: Joke ba ito?
- Nadine Lustre was surprised of the results of the poll which ranked her as the number 1 sexiest woman in the Philppines
-James Reid, despite previous statements is supportive of her girlfriend
-Last year, Jennylyn Mercado was hailed as the sexiest woman according to the local men’s magazine
After a poll launched by the Men’s magazine FHM on the sexiest women in the Philippines, Nadine Lustre was on top of the list.
The young ABSCBN actress said that she did not really expect that she would be hailed as the sexiest, “Hindi ko talaga ini-expect, kasi noong una, pang-50 plus, last year [2015], and then biglang nag-9, nag-8... tapos nag-1,” she said. (“I did not really expect because at I was ranked 50 plus, last year, and then I became 9, then 8, this finally the 1”.)
The final results will be revealed by the local men’s magazine in its July 206 issue. The partial results which was released three days before the voting closed, showed that Lustre was only next to Jessy Mendiola.
Lustre said that she owes this to her fans who would support her in almost everything, “But, I guess, ganoon talaga ang JaDines, talagang supportive sila. Very supportive sa lahat ng bagay,” she said. (“But, I guess, that’s how JaDines are, they’re very supportive. Very supportive in all things.”)
The young star also said that she’s happy that people were insinuating that the definition of sexiness has already changed. She also said that whoever wins in the end is surely deserving of the title.

In earlier reports, James Reid seemed unhappy about the result of the poll, but the couple eventually denied this. Lustre even said that she’s happy she has her boyfriend’s support.
The couple has just arrived in the country from their multi-city tour in the United States and Canada.
For JaDine fans, an official announcement regarding a planned television series starring Reid and Lustre, to be produced by Dreamscape, is expected soon.
The FHM 100 Sexiest Women has been running for 16 years now. Last year, single mother Jennylyn Mercado topped the list.
