Lotlot De Leon could not help but publicly respond to a controversial remark made by Quezon City Representative Bong Suntay regarding actress Anne Curtis. The comment, widely criticized as inappropriate, surfaced during a hearing of impeachment complaints against Vice President Sara Duterte.

On Instagram, Inquirer shared an art card highlighting Suntay’s remark: “Alam niyo minsan, nasa Shangri-La ako, nakita ko si Anne Curtis, ang ganda-ganda pala niya. You know, may desire sa loob ko na, nag-init talaga, na-imagine ko na lang kung ano'ng pwedeng mangyari pero syempre hanggang imagination na lang 'yon. Pero 'di naman siguro ako pwedeng kasuhan kung ano ang na-imagine ko eh.” The statement drew immediate backlash from colleagues and netizens alike.
In the caption accompanying the post, Inquirer noted that several of Suntay’s fellow lawmakers called him out for his lewd comments as he attempted to illustrate a point during the hearing.
