Clyde, meanwhile, penned a lengthy post recalling their love story from the moment they first met to the years they spent building a life together. He thanked Lars for teaching him to love deeply but also expressed the pain of being left without a direct conversation, saying: “Nakakalungkot lang na iniwan moko habang natutulog ako at nag iwan ka ng mahabang mensahe para sakin… Sana kinausap mo muna ako para alam ko lahat ng gagawin, pero ganon siguro talaga. Due to this incident, many Thai trans women wanted the Filipinas to be removed from their hotel and sent back to the Philippines. Lars expressed that regardless of the reason behind the altercation, Filipinos should remain respectful, especially when they are in a foreign country.

Lars also shared her experience undergoing gender reassignment surgery in Thailand. Through her social media posts, she documented her journey, from medical check-ups to the preparation for surgery. She had the procedure done at Kamol Cosmetic Hospital, a well-known medical facility in Bangkok, Thailand.
