But amid the happiness, Regine recounted how affected Ogie was prior the ceremony, "Bago kami magpunta ng Australia, iyak siya nang iyak sa akin. Ang dami niyang hanash kasi Leila moved out eh before they got married. Meron silang like three or four years na they moved in together so yung feeling ng asawa ko parang, 'Ang konti naman ng naging panahon namin together.'"

The sentiment of a father letting go of his daughter was clearly felt. Despite the early wave of emotions, Regine shared that Ogie's mood shifted once they arrived in Australia for the wedding.

Still, the emotions haven't completely faded for the OPM icon after the ceremony. According to Regine, "Pero pag once in a while, pag maalala niya na may asawa na si Leila umiiyak na naman."
