Michelle Dee is making headlines following her commendable performance at the preliminary competition of the 72nd Miss Universe pageant.

During the prelims, more than 80 delegates from all over the world walked the runway for the swimsuit and evening gown rounds.

But before the said portions, each candidate proudly shouted their countries’ names in the introduction segment of the competition.

It is worthy to mention that Michelle enthusiastically uttered “Filipinas” at the top of her voice.

“Filipinas” later landed a spot on the list of trending topics on X, formerly Twitter.

Michelle Marquez Dee is a beauty queen who rose to fame after winning the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 pageant. She represents the Philippines at the 72nd Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador this year. Michelle’s mother is actress and former beauty queen Melanie Marquez.

Michelle was definitely a stunner in the swimsuit competition of Miss Universe 2023 preliminaries. She showcased her smooth pasarela while wearing a sparkling red one-piece swimwear. The country's bet and the other delegates donned beautiful swimsuits by fashion designer Rubin Singer. A video of Michelle's performance during the said round then made the rounds on social media.

Michelle is also gaining praise after walking the runway during the evening gown portion of Miss Universe 2023 preliminaries. The country’s bet turned heads while donning a sparkling gown by Mark Bumgarner. The Miss Universe Philippines organization then took to its social media page to share a clip of Michelle’s performance. The organization also posted a stunning video of the beauty queen flexing the couture gown.
