Maja Salvador revealed that she and Rambo Nuñez had a civil wedding in the Philippines before they tied the knot in Bali, Indonesia.

In an interview with Preview, Maja said the secret ceremony took place at the Grand Hyatt Manila in Bonifacio Global City on February 14, which happens to be their fourth anniversary as a couple.

She told the magazine, “Dapat talaga isang beses lang. Pero, since pinili namin to have a destination wedding, hindi kasi i-o-honor ng Philippines ’yung wedding namin sa Bali.”

The civil rites’ guests only included the couple’s relatives, whereas the dinner party was then opened up to their close friends.

According to Bandera, Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano officiated the civil wedding ceremony.

As per Philstar.com, Maja and Rambo first dated in 2010. Maja confirmed that she and Rambo got back together in March 2019. They got engaged last April 2022.

Maja and her beau, Rambo Nuñez exchanged “I dos” on Monday, July 31, at the chapel of the Apurva Kempinski Bali resort in Indonesia. A video of the bride walking down the aisle then made the rounds on social media. As seen in the video posted by @majinglez on Twitter, Maja donned a chic lace wedding gown on her big day.

Maine Mendoza, Kathryn Bernardo, Janella Salvador and Kakai Bautista were among the wedding’s bridesmaids. BeauteDerm CEO and Founder Rhea Tan took to social media and shared a video showing the stunning bridesmaids.
