Leni Robredo showed her maturity as she reacted to the partial results of the 2022 Presidential Elections.

Based on the said partial results, Bongbong Marcos has a wide lead over her.

While addressing her supporters, Robredo encouraged them to respect the election results even if it is not in their favor.

She urged them to avoid disunity and to listen to the voice of the Filipino people.

“Gayumpaman, sinasabi ko sa inyo: Alam kong mahal natin ang bansa, pero hindi puwedeng maging ugat pa ng pagkakawatak-watak ang pagmamahal na ito.
“Palinaw na nang palinaw ang tinig ng taumbayan. Sa ngalan ng Pilipinas na alam kong mahal na mahal rin ninyo: Kailangan nating pakinggan ang tinig na ito, dahil sa huli, iisa lang ang bayang pinagsasaluhan natin,” Robredo said.

Furthermore, Leni said that the movement that her campaign started is not yet over and that they can still help and make positive changes in the country despite the election results.

“Kaya sinasabi ko sa inyo ngayon: Walang nasayang; hindi tayo nabigo. Pinakamahalaga: Hindi pa tayo tapos. Nagsisimula pa lang tayo,” Leni stated.

VP Leni Robredo is the incumbent vice president of the Philippines. She is a human rights lawyer. Her husband was the late DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo. They have three daughters, namely, Aika, Patricia, and Jillian.

In a previous report, VP Leni Robredo turned emotional when Vice Ganda sang Rosas on stage during the miting de avance in Makati. A zoomed in video of VP Leni showed tears freely flowing down her cheeks. All the while, she was smiling and singing along. The miting de avance was the culmination of the 3-month campaign prior to the May 9 elections.

The crowd estimate at the miting de avance of VP Leni and Sen. Kiko in Naga as of 8:30 p.m. was at 306,000. This estimate was given by the Incident Management Team. Earlier, it was estimated to be at 210,000 at around 7:30 p.m., while before 6 p.m., it was estimated to be at 168,000. The Naga rally is considered the second biggest in number.
