Ogie Diaz took time to repost an alleged statement of veteran actress Elizabeth Oropesa claiming that artists who attend VP Leni Robredo’s campaign rallies receive talent fees or TF.
In his caption, Ogie asked the veteran actress to show proof of her claims, saying that the current trend nowadays is to provide evidence of one’s assertions.
Earlier, Oropesa was alleged to have claimed that artists like her who support the presidential bid of former Senator Bongbong Marcos do not receive any TF from his camp.
“Ipapaputol ko 'yung dalawa kong paa. Gagapang na lang ako kung binabayaran kaming mga artista kay BBM,” the veteran actress allegedly stated.

She also allegedly said that she’s happy for artists who go to VP Leni’s campaign rallies as she is sure they’re receiving TFs.
“Natutuwa ako para dun sa mga artistang kinukuha nila (Robredo camp) kasi sigurado ako may TF (talent fee) 'yan. E sa atin (BBM camp) walang TF. Kusa at dumadating talaga ang mga artista na kahit hindi imbitahan, sila pa ang nagtatanong kung paano sumama,” Oropesa was alleged to have said.
Ogie, who has repeatedly said that they attend VP Leni’s rallies voluntarily and without TF, asked the veteran actress to show proof of her statement.
“Pero since kayo yung accuser, patunayan nyo. Aware naman kayo na uso ang resibo ngayon, maglabas kayo ng ebidensiya,” Ogie wrote in the caption of his repost.
Furthermore, in what might seem to be a swipe at Oropesa’s statement that she would have her two feet cut off if they receive any TF from the BBM camp, Ogie told her to get the “itak” ready.
“Sige po, pakigalaw na po ang itak,” Ogie said.

He also reminded the veteran actress that she is ‘Elizabeth Oropesa’ and not ‘Marites.’
The term ‘Marites’ refers to those who are fond of listening and sharing gossips, many of which later turn out to be false.
“Elizabeth Oropesa ka, hindi ka si Marites,” the talent manager and showbiz reporter said.
The veteran actress has yet to issue a reaction to the post of Ogie.
