Actor Andrew Schimmer asks for help as his wife battles for her life in ICU

Actor Andrew Schimmer took to social media to ask his fellow celebrities and ordinary people to help his wife, Jorhomy “Jho” Rovero.

The actor shared that his wife suffered a severe asthma attack that led to cardiac arrest and brain hypoxia (lack of oxygen supply in the brain).

According to Andrew, his wife has been in the intensive care unit (ICU) of St. Luke’s Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, for three weeks already.

For this reason, her medical bills have ballooned to almost P3,000,000 already.

“Good morning po..mga kapatid, ako po'y kumakatok sa inyong mga puso.

“my wife Jho is still fighting for her life right now in St.Lukes Global ICU because of SEVERE ASTHMA ATTACK na nagresulta sa Cardiac Arrest at Brain Hypoxia o pagkawala ng hangin sa brain.

“Kaya 3 weeks na po sha sa NCCU ng St.Lukes Global Medical Center, at hanggang ngayon ay lumalaban parin po sha pra sa kanyang buhay, gayon narin po kami ng aming mga anak, at ang kanyang buong pamilya at mga mabubuting kaibigan ay lumalaban din para sa kanya.

“Nangangailangan po sha ngayon ng malaking halaga upang maipagpatuloy po ang kayang mga medications sa ICU, kaya naman po mapasa hanggang ngaun ay lumilikom po ng pera ang knyang buong pamilya at mga kaibigan upang matugunan po namin ang kanyang mga medical needs and bills na umabot na po ng halos 3 Million...

Andrew Schimmer is an actor in the Philippines. He was born on June 10, 1986 in Manila, Philippines. Some of his most well-known projects include Babangon Ako't dudurugin kita (2008), Gagamboy (2004) and Resiklo (2007).

Another actor, Joross Gamboa, also recently got hospitalized. The star suffered an Achilles tendon injury while playing basketball.

Sharon Cuneta’s daughter, KC Concepcion, also went to the hospital recently. She sustained second-degree burns in a kitchen accident.
