Maja Salvador, 33, could not help but feel emotional on her first day as a ‘Dabarkads’ on the longest-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga.
On Saturday, October 2, it was confirmed that the former Kapamilya star would be joining Eat Bulaga as the host of the show’s new segment, ‘DC 2021’.
Following this news, KAMI learned that the 33-year-old-actress posted a new vlog featuring several behind-the-scenes clips from her first day as a ‘Dabarkads’.

Upon her arrival at the APT Studios, Maja was stunned to see the beautiful flower-and-balloons set up they prepared for her.

“Dabarkads, thank you! Nae-emosyonal ako,” the actress said as she looked around the lobby to admire the beautiful set-up.
She then continued by rehearsing her dance number for the show, practising some dance moves and certain blockings.
Aside from showing what transpired during her first day on Eat Bulaga, Maja also featured how she trended on Twitter with the hashtag, “#MajaForEatBulaga.”
The new ‘Dabarkads’ member expressed how happy and blessed she is to be part of Eat Bulaga in her viral vlog.
“Sobrang warm ng pag-welcome nila sa akin and I'm really happy for this new journey. Sakto ang blessing na ito sa aking birthday month,” she wrote.

Maja Ross Andres Salvador is an actress, dancer, and producer from the Philippines. She comes from a family of actors, including her father, Ross Rival and her uncle Philip Salvador. Maja has garnered awards in portrayals in different films, such as her role in 'I'm Drunk, I Love You'. Maja also started her talent management agency, Crown Artist Management.
