Earlier, Mega answered a netizen's question as to her secret to shedding all those excess pounds.
"What's your secret in shedding those weight, you look great... keep up the good job and stay safe," the netizen asked.
Sharon then told the netizen that it took her five years to get rid of her excess pounds, though she also admitted that she lacked appetite sometimes.

“Its taken me five years! but since i got here i dunno why wala talaga akong gana kumain. minsan one slice of pizza lang in a whole day. minsan bibigyan ako ng two pieces na chicken ni di ko maubos!” Mega answered.
At this point, another netizen butted into the conversation between Shawie and the first netizen, suggesting that the actress didn't want to eat unless it was steak.
“Gusto mo daw kasi steak. napanuod ko si Mang Kanor... agri agri daw pero steak naman daw kinakain... im like WTH is he talking about?” the other netizen interjected.
Her comment perhaps might have caused Shawie to raise her eyebrows a bit, which prompted her to give this other netizen a sharp retort.
“I know! Steak comes from livestock. Food source pa rin at kahit di naman araw araw steak ang kinakain, so what kahit buong baka ang kainin nyo when kaya nga nagtatrabaho para makakain ng mabuti ang pamilya at mga kasambahay! Kung yun lang naman ang mapipintas naku thank u! Kesa naman ninanakaw namin ang dapat sa taongbayan at ayaw namin i-explain saan napunta pera,” Mega wrote in reply.
Recently, Sharon also slammed a netizen for making a negative comment about her private plane and helicopter ride.
It's a good thing that Mega is has a good heart because it enabled her to give bashers classy and polite, yet firm and meaningful, replies.

Sharon Gamboa Cuneta-Pangilinan, sometimes referred to as Shawie, Megastar, or Mega, is a Pinay actress, singer, TV host, entrepreneur, and commercial endorser. She was born on January 6, 1966, in Santa Mesa, Manila, Philippines, to the late Pablo Cuneta, a former Mayor of Pasay City, and Elaine Gamboa, the sister of Helen Gamboa, the wife of Philippine Senate President Vicente "Tito" Sotto III.
A couple of days ago, Shawie also did not let a netizen's comment pass by without making a firm reply. In that particular exchange, a netizen had asked where the Megastar planned to shop for clothes that she would need to use a helicopter to do so. In her reply, Mega appeared to chastise the netizen and advised said netizen to read all the posts from the moment Shawie posted about the airplane until her helicopter ride. The Megastar is currently in the United States to visit her daughter, Kakie Pangilinan, who is pursuing a college degree in New York.
In that same post, Shawie wowed many netizens with her fit and fabulous body as she walked down the tarmac to a waiting chopper in New Jersey. Even Mega herself remarked that she might need new clothes soon as the ones she has were all starting to fall off her slim figure. Shawie went to the US to surprise her daughter, Kakie Pangilinan, who is now pursuing a college degree in New York City. Some longtime friends of the Megastar, when they learned she was in the US, treated her to a private plane and chopper ride.
