In an interview with ABS-CBN News journo Kat Domingo, Mayor Gomez said there would have been no Richard Gomez if the Kapamilya Network did not exist.

Mayor Gomez, however, admitted that he's just one of those who will ultimately decide the fate of ABS-CBN.
