Veteran columnist Lolit Solis took to Instagram to express her surprise and wonderment why the transfer of Kuya Kim Atienza to GMA Network is being treated like such a big deal.

The resident weatherman of ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol made his last appearance on the program last October 1, Friday, where he bade everyone goodbye.
For Nay Lolit, the job of Kuya Kim is just like any job and should not be made into a big issue.
She even compared a work to a house, where, if residents feel uncomfortable in a particular house, they are always free to look for one that could give them comfort.

“Ewan ko kung bakit parang big deal masyado iyon paglipat ni Kim Atienza , Salve. Iyan naman trabaho natin parang bahay, kung saan ka mas comfortable duon ka,” the veteran columnist wrote in her post.
She also said when it comes to work, there’s no need to get emotional because after all, jobs are temporary.
“Basta tuwing gagawa ka ng desisyon, parang walang personalan, trabaho lang. Hindi kailangan maging issue dahil talaga naman puwede mangyari kahit kanino. Hindi naman siguro masama na maghanap ka o tanggapin ang magandang alok pag binigay sa iyo. Hindi dapat emotional dahil halos lahat naman ng trabaho, temporary lang,” Nay Lolit said.
She then pointed out that it would even be more difficult for Kuya Kim as compared to the colleagues left behind at ABS-CBN because he would be making a lot of adjustments as the days go by.
Nay Lolit said Kuya Kim needs to establish camaraderie with new workmates. She said that would be the challenge for the former resident weatherman of TV Patrol.
She then wished Kuya Kim well on his new home, GMA7.
