Janus del Prado, sinabing na-scam siya ng nagpakilalang namamahala ng paupahan

- He then exposed the name and the photo of the alleged scammer in an Instagram post

- Janus likewise warned his followers about the said ad and fraudster

Janus del Prado was recently scammed by a guy who posted an ad online about a rental space.

In a lengthy Instagram post, the actor exposed the name and the photo of the alleged scammer and warned netizens about him.

According to Janus, he was asked to pay P1,500 as reservation fee for the rental unit.

“Share ko lang. Na scam ako. 1,500 lang naman. Pero malaki na din yun para sa akin lalo na sa panahon ngayon. Note to self. Wag mag dedesisyon pag emosyonal pa. Let me explain. Nagmamadali na kasi ako lumipat kasi i overstayed na my welcome dito kung san ako nakikitira. Basta. Reasons. Hay. So nung may ad ako na nakita na 5k lang rent eh kinagat ko na. Nakuhanan ako ng reservation fee na 1,500. Toinks. Pagdating ko dun kanina sabi ng may ari nung lugar scam daw. Hay ulit. Sa dami ng pinagdadaanan ko ngayon parang dapang dapa ka na sinisipasipa ka pa. Hay. Hello. Chos.”

Janus likewise said he is worrying about some personal details he provided to the scammer.

“Ang worry ko lang nakuha niya phone number ko email at real name ko. I dont know how to go about this kung paano ko irereport at ipapahuli. So for now warningan ko na lang kayo. Any ad na ang lugar ay sa gracepoint at si kuya ang makausap niyo eh scam. And sana matulungan ako ng ng cebuana lhuillier rural bank marefund din yung na transfer ko sa account nya. Wanpayb pa rin yun ba. Tsaka para maturuan din ng leksyon. Salamat. Alam ko tanga ko kaya go lang mga insensitive na bashers.”

“Ps. Di ako sure kung sya talaga yung nasa pic ng mga account nya. Pero yan yung ginagamit niya,” he added.

Janus has taken to social media to hit back at trolls who recently threatened him. The actor revealed that he has received some threats on social media, which he claimed came from fans of his fellow celebrities. Janus then posted an art card which appeared to be his response to the threats.

Janus was also all praises for actor Paolo Contis after he owned up to his mistakes. He likewise commended Paolo for taking all the blame and asking everyone to direct all their anger at him and not to include other people.
