Lani Misalucha revealed to GMANetwork.com that she is currently grieving over the death of one of her grandsons.

According to Lani, she can handle getting sick and going through challenges but seeing her daughter holding the lifeless body of her son in a hospital was just too much for her.

The famous singer admitted that she could not erase that image from her mind because it was too traumatizing.

“I lost a grandson. 'Yan talaga ang di ko mati-take, na makita ko na they were in the hospital.

“Okay na sa akin yung nagkasakit kami, nakayanan namin yun, nalagpasan namin yun.

"Yung image sa akin na hindi ko mabura sa utak ko, yung my daughter is in a hospital bed and she has her son in her arms na wala na,” Lani said.

On Instagram, Lani has repeatedly posted about her bonding moments with her grandchildren. Based on her posts, she seems to be a loving and affectionate grandmother.

A year ago, Lani shared that she lost hearing in one ear after getting infected with bacterial meningitis, as reported by Rappler.

Lani Misalucha, dubbed as “Asia’s Nightingale,” is one of the most acclaimed singers in the Philippines. She also served as one of the judges of “The Clash” – a Kapuso singing contest.

She became the talk of the town when she asked Raffy Tulfo’s help in solving one of the problems that she is experiencing. The complaint was against a booking agent who allegedly took away more than P100,000 from her.

After appearing on Raffy’s program, the popular singer posted a strong message on her social media account. According to Lani, her booking agent must not hide from the accusations against him if he is truly innocent.
