In the September 21, 2021 episode of her program Cristy Ferminute, Nay Cristy recalled about the boxing champ’s “mas masahol pa sa hayop” controversial statement in 2016.

“At dahil lantaran na nga po ang pagtanggap niya sa pagtakbo sa panguluhan sa darating na eleksyon, siyempre, nakalkal ulit mula sa baul ng alaala 'yung matapang na ipinahayag niya noon laban o tungkol sa komunidad ng LGBTQ.”

The talk show host then reacted to Sen. Manny’s clarification about the said matter during his guesting on Toni Talks.

“'Yun 'yung punto ni Senator Manny Pacquiao sa kanyang panayam kay Toni Gonzaga, sa vlog. Ang sabi naman niya sa kanyang pahayag, hindi siya galit nang partikular sa mga miyembro ng LGBTQ community. 'Yon ay mahabang pahayag na naputol-putol kasi wala raw siyang karapatan na kamuhian o magalit sa mga beki o mga tiboli dahil lahat daw tayo ay kawangis ng Diyos, inilikha ng Diyos. Mayroon daw siyang mga pamangkin na gano'n. Mayroon nagta-trabaho sa kanya na beki din at napakaproduktibo raw po ng mga beki kaya wala siyang dahilan para magalit.”

“So, ito ngayon, nililinaw niya na mali kung baga 'yung naging reaksiyon ng mga miyembro ng LGBTQ community noon,” she said.

Nanay Cristy furthermore stressed, “Ito 'yung panahon para bawiin, ipaliwanag, humingi ng pangalawang pagkakataon, maging balanse ang pag-oopinyon. Mabait naman ang Pilipino, sobrang bait ng Pilipino. Nakakaunawa ang ating lahi.”

Manny Pacquiao is a senator of the Philippines. He is also a world boxing champion. His wife is Jinkee Pacquiao.

Cristy Fermin recently aired some pieces of advice to Jinkee and Sen. Manny Pacquiao. This, after the Filipino boxing champ officially announced his presidential race. Nanay Cristy stressed that Jinkee should start displaying a modest life following the said announcement.

Earlier, Cristy aired her honest thoughts about the social media posts of Jinkee and Manny. Nay Cristy believes that the two’s social media pages are being handled by admins. The talk show host then suggested that the said admins must share posts that are more relatable to the masses.
