Angel Locsin, 36, recently took to social media to give a short update about her family after her father, Angelo Colmenares, tested positive for COVID-19.
In an Instagram story, which she shared on Monday, September 13, KAMI learned that the actress revealed that she recently took down her post about her father.

The Kapamilya actress-host then went on to explain why she took it down and why she initially posted it on her personal Instagram account.

"Thank you for the prayers," Angel began, "I'm going to take my post down because this is something I don't want to remember."

According to the 36-year-old actress, she initially broke the news about her father testing positive for COVID-19 because she "needed to airout yesterday."
Angel then went on to reveal that more family members have been affected by COVID, "10 members of the fam from separate houses got COVID."
Despite the current situation her family is facing as a whole, Angel did not forget to thank the people who prayed for her and the rest of her family.
"Thank you everyone for being a ray of sunshine to me and my family," Angel wrote, including a heart emoji at the end of her caption.
