In an ABS-CBN Entertainment video on YouTube released on September 2, 2019, Yen responded to most-Googled questions about her.
Among those questions was, “How does Yen Santos deal with bashers?”
The actress answered that she was not affected by negative comments about her because she chose not to read them at all.
“Sa totoo lang po hindi rin ako mahilig magbasa ng mga negative comments. So, hindi rin ako masyadong naaapektuhan dahil hindi ko rin pinipili na basahin pa. So, kaya nandyan na naman 'yan, bashers are everywhere.”

Yen Santos is a Kapamilya star who broke through in showbiz through the ABS-CBN show “Pinoy Big Brother.” She became famous when her teleserye “Halik”, alongside Jericho Rosales, Yam Concepcion, and Sam Milby, became one of the biggest shows in Philippine TV.
As reported earlier by KAMI, Yen Santos was praised by her "A Faraway Land" co-star, Paolo Contis, for being easy to work with and for being a real professional. He and Yen had instant chemistry the first day they met for the movie. According to Paolo, their chemistry was there even if they did not have time to attend workshops together. He also praised his co-star for being open to suggestions and for knowing how to communicate how she wants to attack their scenes.
Earlier, Paolo proudly posted on social media that the movie became Netflix Philippines’ number 1 show. Paolo likewise uploaded a photo showing that “A Faraway Land” is among the most-watched shows in the country. His leading lady, Yen, then took to her IG Stories to express how proud she is of the actor.
