Robin Padilla is a famous action star and endorser in the Philippines. He is married to actress-host Mariel Padilla. The actor has two children with Mariel – Isabella and Gabriela. Aside from his action movies, Robin is known for his love for the country and for being a friend of Senator Bong Go and President Rodrigo Duterte.
Mariel went viral for expressing her support for employees of the Kapamilya network after ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal was rejected by Congress. Robin has also made known his position, saying that he wants the network to be reformed but he does not want it to get shut down.
Robin Padilla also made the news after his sibling BB Gandanghari accused him of being a neglectful brother and a hypocrite. Robin responded to BB by expressing his love for his sibling. He also advised BB to calm down and understand his side. Netizens praised Robin for not responding to BB with anger or aggression. Later on, BB admitted that he was too harsh in commenting about his brother.
