Prominent personalities are currently mourning the death of Noemi Tesorero, popularly known as Mahal.

This, after her sister, Irene Tesorero, confirmed that the actress and comedienne has passed away this afternoon, August 31.
“Ang aming kapatid na si mahal ay pumanaw na. Wala pa schedule sa kanyang burol due to COVID restriction,” said Irene.
After the news broke, celebrities like Jerald Napoles, Ken Chan and KaladKaren Davila, among others, expressed their grief.

“REST IN PEACE sa isa sa mga iconic celebrity na nagpatawa sa atin mula bata pa tayo. Paalam Noeme “MAHAL” Tesorero,” Jerald posted on Facebook.
“Maraming salamat sa pagpapasaya sa amin Ate Mahal,” Ken wrote.
“Rest in Power, Mahal. Pasayahin mo ang mga nasa langit,” KaladKaren penned.
“2years din kita nakasama sa bahay at naging Alalay mo sa mga out of town shows mo.. araw araw gabi gabi magkakasama…. Ang tapang mo para umabot ng ganyang Edad sa kalagayan mo…Bago ka nawala nakagawa ka pa ng napakabuting gawain sa partner mong si Mura…Mahal ka ng lahat… Mahal ka namin MAHAL…. pahinga na aming Munting MAHAL….. NOEMI TESORERO MAY YOU REST IN PEACE,” comedian Brenda Mage said.
Mahal, whose real name is Noemi Tesorero, is a Filipina comedienne and social media star. She starred in movies such as “Id'Nal (Mapusok)” (2012), “Kokey” (1997) and “Mr. Suave: Hoy! Hoy! Hoy! Hoy! Hoy! Hoy!” (2003).
Irene Tesorero, the sister of Mahal, revealed that the comedienne passed away due to COVID-19. According to her post, there is no schedule yet as to the burial because there are COVID-19 restrictions.
Earlier, Donita Nose and Super Tekla have collaborated with Mygz Molino and Mahal. For their collaboration, Donekla took on the 'Sagot o Lagot' challenge with Mahal and Mygz. At one point during the video, Donita and Mygz excused themselves as the latter wanted to change his top, This prompted Mahal to question the two why they took so long, eventually admitting she got jealous.
