Megastar Sharon Cuneta recently uploaded an emotional post on her Instagram account about her daughter Frankie Pangilinan leaving for the United States to study there.
Frankie is set to attend college in a school in New York, which the family did not name.
According to Shawie, she has been heartbroken for days with her impending separation from her daughter and now that it has arrived, her heart is broken into pieces.
“My Kakie, my Baba, is flying back to New York right about now…& if my heart had already been breaking for days over her leaving and other matters, today it is in pieces,” Sharon wrote in her post.

She also expressed her worries for her other daughter, Miel, whom she called Frankie’s “bestest friend” in the world.
“I worry, too, for my Miel…her Ate Kakie is her bestest friend in the whole world, & over seventeen months of Pandemic togetherness, my two younger girls have become only closer, stuck like glue, relying & depending on each other for anything & everything,” the Megastar revealed.
She then revealed that her own heart is bawling as she misses her daughter very much and that as a result of her absence, their house had become very silent.
“As for me, the silence in our home now is deafening…And my heart is at once lost & bawling over missing her and feeling her absence…The sadness around here now is palpable,” Sharon said.
Mega then said that the only thing that managed to cheer her up is the news she received about her new movie, “Revirginized,” which has managed to clinch the number 3 spot on Google Play.
“Only the news sent to me about “Revirginized’s” #3 ranking on Google Play managed to cheer me up,” Shawie said.
The Megastar has just recently returned from the United States after flying there unceremoniously in May of this year.
She stayed in California for several months, at the outset refusing to disclose the real reason why she left, though she eventually revealed that it was primarily for health reasons.

She was born on born January 6, 1966 in Santa Mesa, Manila, Philippines to the late Pablo Cuneta, a former Mayor of Pasay City, and Elaine Gamboa, the sister of Helen Gamboa, wife of Philippine Senate President, Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
Recently, Shawie posted a heartfelt and funny birthday greeting for her husband, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan. She also included a photo of them at what appeared to be their family dining area with Kakie and Miel standing behind them. She also recalled her senator husband was only 30 years old when they started dating. Mega then joked maybe it’s time for a change because they’ve been together for a long time.
Mega also posted her delight and surprise after receiving the giveaways from Ara Mina and Dave Almarinez's recent wedding. It can be recalled that back in June, Ara and Dave finally tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Baguio City. After returning back to the Philippines, Sharon finally got her wedding favors from the couple as she is one of the godmothers. Her sweet online post eventually caught the attention of Ara who then replied and thanked Sharon for her message.
