Ruffa Gutierrez revealed that she got emotional while saying goodbye to her daughter, Lorin Bektas.

KAMI learned that they said their temporary goodbyes because Lorin will be starting her freshman year at Pepperdine University in California.

The celebrity mom expressed how proud she is of Lorin for being beautiful, intelligent, and hardworking.

She encouraged her daughter to persevere in her studies and told her that she will be missing her every day.

Ruffa was also with Venice, her other daughter, when she brought Lorin to Pepperdine.

“It was an emotional day for @venicebektas and I as we said our temporary goodbyes to @loringabriella who is off to start a new journey as a freshman at @pepperdine

“You’ve made us so proud as we’ve watched you grow up to be the beautiful, smart, hardworking young lady you are now.

“Continue to persevere and live a life of purpose, service, and leadership. Focus on your studies. We love you so much and we will be missing you every single day,” Ruffa posted on Instagram.

Ruffa Gutierrez is a model, beauty queen, host and actress in the Philippines. She has two daughters with her former husband Yilmaz Bektas – Lorin and Venice Gutierrez. Ruffa and Yilmaz’s legal separation happened in 2012.
