Aiko Melendez is indeed blessed with loving, caring, and protective children after sharing how her son, Andre Yllana, once protected her.
In her latest interview with Aster Amoyo, KAMI learned that the 45-year-old celebrity mom shared how protective her son gets over the family.
"Tita, may she-share po ako, one time sobrang na-touch po ako kay Andre. Kasi we went out sa bar nga po," she began.

"So siya may mga barkada siya dun, ako dito po yung tatlong friends ko po. Tatlo lang kaming lumalabas na babae po," Aiko shared.

During their time at the bar, Aiko shared an encounter she had with a man, "Merong lalaki pong nambastos sa akin, tita.
"Alam niyo si Andre, yung table na yan hanggang dito, sumugod dito para sugurin yung lalaki, ipagtanggol po ako.
"Tinawag niya yun mga bouncer, sabi niya, alam niya yung what to do eh. He won't get into a fight," Aiko recalled.
According to the actress, Andre called the bouncers and talked to them, "Walang makakabastos sa mommy ko habang andito ako."
At one point, Aiko said, "Makikita niyo po talaga, tita, na iiwan niya yung barkada niya para ipagtanggol po ako. Kaya grabe."

Aiko Melendez is a popular showbiz personality in the Philippines. In 2018, she won the Best Supporting Actress award for the movie, “Rainbow’s Sunset.” In 2001, Aiko ran for councilor in the city elections in Quezon City and won. She became Councilor of the 2nd District of Quezon City and remained in office for 9 years until 2010.
As reported earlier by KAMI, Aiko Melendez's manager went viral when she asked Long Mejia to pay at least Php 400,000 in the actress's vlog as part of their prank.
Meanwhile, Aiko also made headlines when she was spotted looking young and ageless during her barangay visitation.
