Sam Cruz, the second daughter of Sunshine Cruz with Cesar Montano, recently revealed in an interview that her mom is not strict about boys.

The young singer was the guest of the podcast show, Over A Glass Or Two, hosted by Filipino-Americans Jessy Daing and Jesse Castro.
Jessy was talking to Sam about her latest MTV with Leon Barretto titled “Train of Thought” when the podcaster asked if Sunshine’s daughter has many suitors.
“I’m sure maraming nanliligaw sa ‘yo no?” FilAm podcaster Jessy Daing asked.

Sam laughed at the question, prompting Jessy to ask if she’s prohibited from having suitors and if her mom’s strict.
“Hindi naman po. My mom’s not strict about boys, pero I’m not allowed to have a boyfriend yet until I’m 18, pero no rush naman po,” Sam said.
She then revealed that she’s just talking to friends, some of them male, and perhaps trying to get to know them before getting into relationships.
“Right now I’m just talking to friends, like guy friends, pero you know they’re just my friends and I have just got to know the person muna before I really rush into a relationship, serious relationship, coz I’m still very young and I have to prioritize my studies and my work so ayun po,” Sam explained.
Samantha Angelene Cruz Montano, more popularly known as Sam Cruz, is a Pinoy social media star, actress, and singer. She was born on August 24, 2004 to singer and actress Sunshine Cruz and actor Cesar Montano in Parañaque City, Metro Manila, Philippines. She has two sisters, Chesca Montano and Angelina Cruz, and is also the younger sister of Diego Loyzaga.
In May of this year, Sunshine Cruz proudly displayed the graduation photo of Sam when she finished her junior high school. What made Sunshine more proud was that Sam was able to accomplish the feat while managing her own showbiz career. The ability to handle both academics and showbiz was a feat that is worthy of recognition. Sam is the one who has already started her showbiz career and has also started with a number of product endorsements.
About two years ago, Sunshine took to the defense of her daughter Sam when a netizen bashed the younger cruz for being seen in public with Kyle Echarri. A netizen bashed her for this, accusing her that she will ruin the singer-actor's career. Cesar Montano’s ex-wife took to express her rage on social media and responded to the accusations against her daughter.
