This is what the actor said during a phone interview with Ogie Diaz for the latter’s YouTube channel named Showbiz Update.

Derek also said that this is the reason why he chose not to react when it comes to women linked to him in the past because for him, it would be rude to say a single word against any of them.

Ogie noted that this is the first time Derek spoke about a controversy unlike in the past, particularly when it involved his relationships.

“Sana naintindihan natin, ng marami, si Derek kung saan siya nanggagaling dahil first time magsalita ni Derek,” Ogie said.

The talent manager and vlogger also said that the actor kept silent even if he was already being berated online as most netizens sided with his past girlfriends.

“Yung mga nakaraan niyang relasyon naman kahit siya ay binugbog, sa mga isyu, dahil siyempre mga babae yung kinampihan ng karamihan…” the popular vlogger said.
