Jessy Mendiola refuted talks that she’s already a ‘has-been’ without any project offers.

The actress shot down long time speculations that she’s no longer a ‘hot item’ in showbiz during a sit-down interview with Enchong Dee.

She said that even when the pandemic started, she has many offers but she values her health over having projects.

“Ang totoo n’yan, ever since before the pandemic started, marami ng offers talaga but I think it’s more of I value my health more than anything,” Jessy said.

The actress also felt she made the right decision because of the pandemic, lock in tapings became the norm.

“And ever since the pandemic started, siyempre nandyan ‘yung fear, nandyan ‘yung kailangan mong ma-lock in, nandyan ‘yung marami kang taong makakasama,” the wife of Luis Manzano said.

She then revealed that she is happy where she is right now and even earns more compared to some of her acting stints before.

“I feel that nasa point na ako ng life ko na I’m enjoying what I’m doing which is vlogging. I think nandoon na tayo sa point ng buhay natin na hindi na tayo nape-pressure to please everyone. Actually, mas marami akong ipon ngayon at hindi sagad ang work ko pero I still earn, I think double,” Jessy revealed.

She also revealed that she’s also exploring other aspects such as entering the world of business.

The actress made other revelations during the interview with Enchong, which could be found in the latter’s YouTube channel ‘Enchong Dee.’

Jessy Mendiola was recently invited to guest in Enchong Dee's Honest Questions vlog for his YouTube channel. As Enchong's vlog content usually deals with budgeting, Jessy, who recently got married to Luis Manzano, was asked to share how they manage their finances as a couple. According to the lovely actress, they both have their own money and so contrary to the rumors, she does not ask Luis for money when she wants to buy something. Nevertheless, the actress explained that she knows her limits and so she does not spend more that what she earns.

Jessy was also asked by Enchong what changes happened as far as financial matters are concerned when she got married.
