Robin Padilla talked to her wife, Mariel Padilla, about the shutdown of ABS-CBN on television and radio.

KAMI learned that during their discussion, Robin revealed that he has been privately trying to help the Kapamilya network amid its franchise renewal crisis.
According to him, even the bosses of ABS-CBN know that he is doing his part to support the network.
He also explained that he only wanted reforms in the network and that he never wanted it to be shut down. Finally, the actor promised to continue trying to help ABS-CBN.
“Ginawa ko yung part ko. Yan ang hindi alam ng marami. Hindi lang ako ma-talkies.
“In a very big way, hindi ko lang pinu-publicity at alam din yang ng mga boss ng ABS-CBN.
“Kahit naman yung mga workers hindi naman nila minithi na magsarado ang ABS-CBN. Ang minithi lang nila ay mabayaran sila.
“At hindi naman ako titigil sa pag-try,” Robin told Mariel.
