A photo of Kier Legaspi, carrying little Dani Barretto, during the latter's 2nd birthday celebration has gone viral.

The photo had a date at the lower right corner "'95 10 20," indicating October 20, 1995.
There were several photos that were given to GMA News by a source who wished to remain anonymous.
GMA also tried to verify the photos with Kier, which the latter confirmed were taken at the garage of the Legaspi home in Pasig.
"I remember that...Sa bahay namin yan sa Pasig. It was in the garage of the Legaspi house in Pasig," said Kier to GMA over a phone interview on Thursday.
As per GMA, the source said: "Hindi ko kaya maatim na sinabi ni Dani na wala siyang naging birthday celebration na kasama ang kanyang papa."
Dani previously stated that she has not spoken with her father for seven years. She also admitted that her self-esteem would be affected whenever people would tell her that she does not look like a "Barretto."

Dani Barretto, during a guesting, in Vicki Belo's vlog recalled the time that she was yearning for the presence of her father, Kier Legaspi, She narrated how she felt hurt before that she could not bond with Kier, even though she knew that he was just within reach, She said she also knew her father was not OFW so he is just around, When she was already 19 years old, she lived with her father for three months, so she was able to bond with him and get to know him.
She was a guest of Vicki Belo in her vlog and she recounted the time that a fight occurred between her and her father. The vlogger said that there was a fight, which happened just one night and it was something that they did not resurrect anymore. After that, she admitted that they just stopped talking. Then seven years passed before they finally got to speak again.
