The mother of one of the soldiers who died in the fatal C-130 crash in Patikol, Sulu, gave a short interview over CDN Digital.
She expressed her grief in losing his son, Staff Sergeant Jan Neil Macapaz.
"Hindi magiging madali. Ansakit isipin, pero kahit maubos pa yung luha ko, hindi na maibabalik ang buhay ng anak ko."
The C-130 crash took the lives of 52 individuals as of writing.
As per witnesses, there were soldiers who jumped out of the plane before the fatal crash.

The Lockheed C-130 was carrying 96 soldiers and crashed in Patikol, Sulu. It missed the runway, which caused the plane to crash. As of this writing, the death toll is already at 52.
Events concerning the military tend to go viral. Some celebs have also joined the ranks. One example is Arci Muñoz. She recently shared on social media about her experience of wearing combat shoes. She has recently become a sergeant at the Philippine Air Force after completing its Basic Citizen Military Training. The actress then posted on Instagram a photo showing wounds on her foot which she got from wearing her military boots.
She also gladly shared that she is currently training to be a reservist of the Philippine Air Force. The actress took to social media to flaunt her uniform as she started her physical training on June 12, Independence Day. She also shared a video giving some glimpses of the first day of her training. Being the latest woman and celebrity to undergo the said training, Arci encouraged other females to enlist as well.
