She expressed her grief in losing his son, Staff Sergeant Jan Neil Macapaz.
"Hindi magiging madali. Ansakit isipin, pero kahit maubos pa yung luha ko, hindi na maibabalik ang buhay ng anak ko."
The C-130 crash took the lives of 52 individuals as of writing.
As per witnesses, there were soldiers who jumped out of the plane before the fatal crash.

The Lockheed C-130 was carrying 96 soldiers and crashed in Patikol, Sulu. It missed the runway, which caused the plane to crash. As of this writing, the death toll is already at 52.
