Nadine Samonte revealed on social media that her third pregnancy at the age of 33 has been a lot more difficult than her first two pregnancies.

The celebrity mom shared in her Instagram post that she almost lost her baby during the first trimester of her pregnancy.
According to Nadine, the difficulties have been caused by her two conditions – polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and antiphospholipid syndrome (APAS)
PCOS affects a woman’s hormone levels and it makes it harder for her to get pregnant or causes complications during pregnancy. As for APAS, it involves a disorder in the woman’s immune system that can also cause danger to the baby in the womb.
Despite these challenges, Nadine feels blessed to be pregnant with her third child and she vowed to fight for the child. The actress is currently taking different medications to combat the said health conditions.
“Everyday is a struggle but it’s more of a blessing. Feeling my tummy grow everyday is what I’m thankful for. Thank you Lord for our 3rd baby. Yes i still have PCOS and mostly APAS.
“This journey is particularly different from my 2 kids. We almost lost our baby during my first trimester but with God’s grace and Guidance hindi nya kami pinabayaan. God is Good…
“Not complaining but hey i can say im one strong momma here fighting for my babies. Ang dami kong iniyak sa journey na to hehe pero i wont give up EVER! I’ll fight and stay strong for them!!! Go APAS and PCOS mommas out there. Kaya natin to. Hello to our rainbow baby soon. Our last,” Nadine wrote on Instagram.

Nadine Samonte is an actress and social media star in the Philippines. She and Richard Chua tied the knot on October 30, 2013. Their first child Heather was born on August 27, 2016. She gave birth to baby Titus in April 2019.
